CheatSheet 06/12/12
With CheatSheet, just hold the ⌘-Key a bit longer to get a list of all active current app shortcuts. This app is a revelation.
Ok. This might be my shortest post to date but also my most enthusiastic.
All that CheatSheet does is reveal an overlay list of your current app shortcuts.
Single function. Single focus.
Like LeBron during the regular season or Kobe in the finals, this app is a time-saving, game-winner.
No more having to remember awkward 3-finger combinations to find the shortcuts in your favorite apps.
Just hold the command button for a couple of seconds.
CheatSheet however, only runs on OS X 10.7 (Lion) so if you had been waiting for a good reason to finally take the plunge – now’s the time.
Other single function code that has nothing to do with video post-production but is pretty funny:
- Awesome Highlighter - lets you highlight text on web pages and then gives you a small link to the highlighted page.
- IsThisMeetingReallyWorthIt.com - a fun way to time a meeting and find out if it is worth it based on the people attending and the average hourly wage.
- WriteRhymes.com - a handy tool to find rhyming words. It suggests rhymes as you write. Great for aspiring rappers.
