Emulator DVS 09/02/12

Emulator is multi-touch midi control software and hardware for Musicians, DJs, Lighting Designers, Video Editors, VJs and much more.

While the Emulator DVS is geared toward live performers and presenters, I see possibilities for post-production.

First of all, it’s ergonomic in that it forces us to stand up when we work. And from what we now know about the dangers of prolonged sitting, that’s a good thing.

Secondly, the Emulator software is compatible with a lot of popular music creation software. The DVS is compatible with ProTools, Ableton, Cakewalk, Soundforge and other audio apps.

Of course, using the Emulator won’t automatically improve your music – but it may improve your music creation experience.

Which gets me to the third thing: Wouldn’t it be cool to color grade on this beast?!?

I can already visualize DaVinci Resolve 12 on this rig. Oh, well. Until then, check out the DVS demo video:
