Andrew Spitz’s site { sound + design } features novel audio hacks that are more fun than function.

When someone has taken the time to build the ingenious Super Angry Birds USB controller, you can only stop and think – why didn’t I think of that?

And while not an audio hack per se, the controller was programmed in Max/MSP - a highly modular programming language with music roots.

Danish sound & interaction designer Andrew Spitz showcases these kinds of hacks and more on his site { sound + design }.

Check out the WTPh? (What the Phonics) interactive installation. It attempts to decode street names in Denmark that are close to impossible for foreigners to pronounce.

If only they could create something like this for corporate memos.
